This is the far end of the beach, and the Cape Point ORV ramps see more 4x4 beach driving than anywhere on the Outer Banks. Salt water gets into the frame, brake lines and the underbody and starts rust within the season.
Detailing near the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse
We work all over Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras Village, from Buxton to the Cape Point ramps, and the cars tell the same story: beach-driving 4x4s, charter-boat tow trucks and the Ocracoke ferry traffic. Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras Village carry a travel charge because of the drive. We stack several houses in one trip to keep it fair.
The fix is the same package list you'll find on our main page, sized to the vehicle. For most Hatteras customers that means a Full Detail at the start of the stay or the season, then a Wash & Vac every few weeks to keep the salt off.
Heavy sand, pet hair or mildew is quoted before we start, never after. Golf carts, boats and RVs near Cape Point are welcome too, text a photo for a price.
